The 6kg size cylinder is manufactured from lightweight aluminum and offers a realistic
weight saving compared to its steel counterparts.
Like the 11kg Alugas cylinder is fitted with an 80% automotive over fill protection ensuring
the user cannot over fill the cylinder.
Unlike the 11kg cylinder the 6kg does not have the contents level float gauge.
This type of cylinder is becoming very popular as a replacement to exchange cylinders for motorhomes
users, giving them the same advantages as having a fixed bulk tank. With the flexibility to fit one
or two cylinders to one external autogas filler point and to link directly to your existing regulator,
they can be filled from forecourt filling stations in the UK and across Europe (with the use filler adapters).
To ensure standards are high each cylinder carries the European PI mark and carries the unique German TUV approval.
